Connect OKX Wallet
OKX Wallet connects through a browser login, with no API key. Trade uses it for on-chain spot. This guide covers how to log in, choose sub-wallets and what to do when the login expires.
Before you start
Have an OKX Wallet account. You can sign in with Google, Apple or email.
Create the sub-wallets you want to connect in OKX Wallet first.
Each swap’s network fee is paid in the chain’s native coin, so keep some of it in the wallet.
What you can trade
OKX Wallet trades on-chain spot only: each swap routes to DEX liquidity on its chain. In a combo it can only be the long leg, and its order type is Market only. Use another exchange for the short leg.
How fees are recorded
OKX Wallet fill records carry no fee, so the trading fee on these fills is 0. Swap costs are reflected in the fill price.
Each swap’s network fee is recorded on its own, converted to USD at the time, and counted in the combo’s net PnL. A reverted swap has no fill but still pays the network fee, and it is recorded too.
Add it in Trade
In Trade, open Accounts, choose Add account and select OKX Wallet.
Choose Log in in browser and sign in on the OKX page that opens. If the login window doesn’t open, copy the login link into your browser.
When the login completes, the window in Trade continues by itself. After more than 10 minutes of waiting, you start again.
Under Choose sub-wallets, tick the ones to connect. Each sub-wallet becomes a separate account with its own balance.
To connect another sub-wallet of the same OKX account later, choose Add sub-wallets under Logged-in OKX accounts. You don’t log in again.
When the login expires
One login lasts about 100 days and is shared by every sub-wallet account from that login.
| The account shows | Meaning and what to do |
|---|---|
| Login expiring | Shown from 7 days before expiry. Trading continues |
| Log in again | The login has expired or is no longer valid, and these accounts stop trading. Choose Log in again and they all recover, with names and settings unchanged |
You must log in again with the original OKX account.
