Exchange banned an egress IP

The exchange banned one of your server’s egress IPs, so requests through it are rejected. Wait for the ban to lift, or turn that IP off in Trade to use another exit.

What it means

The exchange banned one of your server’s egress IPs. Requests to that exchange through this IP are rejected. If the exchange states when the ban lifts, the notification shows the time left. Trade respects the ban period and sends a Resolved message once it lifts.

What to do

  • Wait for the ban to lift. Requests resume by themselves and you don’t need to do anything.

  • If the server has more than one egress IP, turn the banned IP off under Network exits in Trade so requests use another exit. The last enabled exit can’t be turned off. Enable another exit first.

For how a combo on this exchange behaves during the ban, see Exchange rejections in Risk controls.
