Opening paused
The first liquidation distance line. When any leg is this close to liquidation or closer, the combo pauses opening and adding.
In the product
It is pause-opening line in a combo’s risk parameters, set as a liquidation distance in % and required to be greater than the alert line.
How to read it
Example: 30% means the combo stops opening once the price is within 30% of the liquidation price. While opening paused is in effect, the combo’s state doesn’t change and closing goes on. Opening resumes by itself once the distance recovers, with nothing for you to do. That is the difference from reduce-only. Risk controls explains how the three lines relate.
