Automatic alignment
When a combo’s recorded position exceeds the actual exchange position by the set amount, ZML Trade reduces the excess at market. It only reduces and never adds.
In the product
In the Position difference protection settings, turn on Automatic alignment and set the Automatic alignment amount. It applies to every combo, and you confirm when you turn it on. Position difference alerts must be on first, and the Automatic alignment amount must be greater than the Alert amount. Turning off the position difference alert also turns off automatic alignment. It triggers only after the difference has stayed at that amount for 10 seconds in a row. It covers contract positions only; spot is for comparison.
How to read it
In automatic alignment, the first step is to calibrate the combo record to the exchange position, then the excess is reduced at market in slices, each within the combo’s Maximum order size. It never opens the opposite side. Afterward the combo stays reduce-only and its target position is unchanged, so you resume opening yourself. The shortfall may come from a liquidation, an ADL or a manual close. Its trades may realize losses, slippage and fees. To change the record without placing orders, use Calibrate combo positions.
