Connect Nado
Trade uses a Nado subaccount to trade USDT0 perpetuals. This guide covers what to prepare on Nado and how to add the account in Trade with a wallet or a linked trading key.
Prepare on Nado
Deposit funds into the subaccount you want to connect.
Note the subaccount name, for example default or default_1.
Adding with Connect wallet needs nothing else, and it connects the default subaccount. To add with Enter API key, you need the trading key currently linked to this subaccount. The main wallet’s private key isn’t accepted. If you don’t have a trading key yet, use Connect wallet.
Nado has no IP allowlist, so the Add account window doesn’t list an egress IP.
Account mode and position mode
The only account mode is Subaccount: a unified-margin subaccount for trading USDT0 perpetual contracts. A subaccount is identified by the main wallet address plus the subaccount name.
Perpetuals use one-way mode, with nothing to set up. Contract leverage is set in the combo, and Trade applies it on the exchange.
Enter it in Trade
In Trade, open Accounts, choose Add account, select Nado, then pick a Connection method. For the general steps, see Connect an exchange.
Connect wallet
Choose Connect wallet to connect your main wallet, then choose Authorize and add. Your wallet asks you to sign once. After you sign, Trade links a trading key to this subaccount on Nado. Linking replaces 1-click trading on the Nado website and cancels all open orders in this subaccount.
Manual API
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Main wallet address | The address of the wallet you deposited to Nado with |
| Trading key | The trading key currently linked to this subaccount: 0x followed by 64 hex characters. Don’t enter the main wallet’s private key |

Common questions
The subaccount’s value is too low to link a trading key
Deposit to this subaccount on Nado first, then connect again.
“This is the main wallet’s private key”
This field takes Trading key only. Use Connect wallet instead, or enter the trading key already linked to this subaccount.
The trading key didn’t pass verification
Check that the trading key is the one currently linked to this subaccount. Turning on 1-click trading on the Nado website replaces it.
“The Nado sub-account name may be at most 12 bytes”
Enter the subaccount name shown on Nado. Leave it empty if you only use the default subaccount.
