How to turn on two-factor authentication, and what to do if you lose the authenticator
Two-factor authentication asks for a code from your authenticator app when you sign in. You turn it on in Trade’s settings.
Turn it on
Under Sign-in & security in Settings, choose Turn on for two-factor authentication. After you verify your identity, scan the QR code with your authenticator app, enter the 6-digit code it shows; it confirms on its own once all digits are in. From your next sign-in, every password sign-in asks for the code. You stay signed in on the current device.
You lost the authenticator
A browser is still signed in: replace or turn off two-factor authentication under Sign-in & security there.
No browser is signed in: reset the administrator password on the server. Two-factor authentication is turned off at the same time. Combos, exchange keys and history are kept. Forgot the password or lost the authenticator has the command and steps.
