Reconciliation

ZML Trade keeps comparing the position each combo has recorded with the actual position on the exchange. Reconciliation only compares and changes neither side.

In the product

The reconciliation window is on the Accounts page, with two views: Position diff and Spot comparison. With Position difference alerts on, Trade alerts you once a contract position difference stays at or above the Alert amount. The spot view is for comparison only and never alerts.

How to read it

The difference amount is the gap between the combo position quantity and the actual quantity, times the Mark price. When the exchange position cannot be read, Trade shows the reason, does not treat it as zero and raises no alert. A difference can be handled in two ways: Calibrate combo positions changes only the record, and Automatic alignment reduces at market. A fill on an old resting order after you stop a combo also shows up as a reconciliation difference.
